Please Touch Exhibition at the Museum Fur Gestaltung

Please Touch is the intriguing name for an exhibition taking place at moment at the Museum für Gestaltung. It’s almost the oppostite of many museums where often treasured items are hidden away in glass boxes with large signs saying please DON’T touch! What fun to have the opposite! In fact this is such a sensory experience that you are even encouraged to take off your socks – you are invited to experience tactile sensation and sensory overload!

You are also encouraged to touch, squeeze, feel and get right up close and personal with a variety of objects Feeling is sensory and this is a whole body experience.

The exhibition takes place at Schaudepot, the new location for the museum situated in Toni-Areal. This new location is showing temporary exhibitions bringing together its collections of Design, Graphics, Applied Art and Poster and it includes approximately 500,000 objects.

The address for the exhibition is: Toni-Areal, Pfingstweidstrasse 96, 8005 Zurich
